WhatsApp’s Live Location feature allows you to share your real-time location with your contacts. This can be helpful in a number of situations, such as when you’re meeting up with someone and want to help them find your location, or if you want to let a friend or family member know where you are while you’re out and about.

To use the Live Location feature, you’ll need to have the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your phone. Here’s how you can use it:

  • Open a chat with the person or group you want to share your location with.
  • Tap the attachment icon (the paperclip icon) and select “Location.”
  • Choose “Live Location” from the options that appear.
  • Set the duration for how long you want to share your location.
  • You can choose between 15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours.
  • Tap “Send” to share your location.

Your contacts will be able to see your live location on a map within the chat, and they’ll be able to see your location in real-time as long as you have the Live Location feature turned on. You can stop sharing your location at any time by tapping the “Stop Sharing” button.

It’s important to note that Live Location is only available in group chats with up to 256 participants and that your location is only shared with the people you’ve chosen to share it with. It is not shared with WhatsApp or any third parties.

What is WhatsApp’s Live Location and Current Location?

WhatsApp’s live location feature allows you to share your real-time location with a contact or group of contacts for a specified period of time. This can be useful if you’re trying to meet up with someone, or if you want to let someone know where you are while you’re on the go.
